FIRST MILESTONE ACHIEVED AS TRAFFORD COUNCIL FORMALLY DESIGNATE FLIXTON NEIGHBOURHOOD FORUM AND BOUNDARY.

Well we've done it!  Our first milestone reached. The formal designation of the Flixton Neighbourhood Forum and Boundary became effective on 15th April 2020.

TMBC have published the required notices on their website and in the local press.

We are now the Forward Strategic Body for developing a Neighbourhood plan, in effect a Local Plan for Flixton.

For reasons obvious to us all we are presently taking a pause in the process due to the Covid19 virus, however, we will continue to progress matters when circumstances allow.

In the meantime, if you are able to get out and excercise why not walk the boundary section by section.

We would just like to to say many thanks to everyone in the community who has supported us with this ambitious undertaking.

CONSULTATION OPEN

We are pleased to announce that we have completed the first process in seeking a Flixton Neighbourhood Plan and now it's open to all to comment. If the consultation is successful it will mean Trafford Council approval of the Flixton Neighbourhood Forum and the Flixton Neighbourhood Plan Boundary.
